More and more sport-based programs testify the power of the practice of the sport to spur individual and social development, by promoting its structuring values. The use of sport as a pedagogic tool has also motivated the international sports movement and stakeholders into tangible action. In parallel, our success in the field has made political leaders and governments aware of how sport can be a genuine and effective mechanism for peace. Sport is now put at the heart of concerted, effective and relevant political action.
