Romain Febvre at #SPAW15

Romain FebvreWe are excited to host Romain Febvre at SPORTEL Awards 2015!

Yamaha Factory Racing Yamalube’s Romain Febvre is one of the most gifted motorcycle riders in the world. Originating from Epinal, France, the 23 year-old did the unthinkable in 2015 and won the premier class of the FIM Motocross World Championship in his rookie year.

Febvre first entered the FIM Motocross World Championship back in 2012 in the MX2 class. The then rookie finished 13th in his debut year. The following year, in 2013, Febvre had already found the legs to finish on the podium and managed to keep the momentum going through 2014 where he was a frequent top five finisher and won his first ever motocross grand prix.

After finishing 3rd in the FIM Motocross MX2 World Championship in 2014, Febvre was forced into the premier class MXGP due to his age of 23. While no one expected the talented young Frenchman to be challenging for the lead in his rookie year, Febvre ended up headlining the 2015 MXGP series for his first ever FIM Motocross World Title.
