Attracted by sport at a young age, he discovered athletics and quickly adhered to boxing and practiced it until the day he won his first cup. He participated in his first major battle where he was distinguished and selected for the African team. He became an African amateur champion in 2002. The tone is set:

– Selected for the Athens Olympic Games in 2004.
In 2005, he went into professional boxing. For this, he decided to entrust his career to a renowned trainer, the “machine to produce champions,” Mr. Joseph GERMAIN.

On April 29, 2011 he became WBO intercontinental Africa champion against the German Gbenga OLOUKUM;
On May 24, 2012 he was crowned WBF Intercontinental champion against the South African Francois BOTHAT.
On May 24, 2013 he became world champion in the WBF facing the American defending champion Michael Grant, former world challenger of Lennox LEWIS from the WBA and IBF.
On January 18, 2004 he faces Mike Perez at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
On 6 June 2014 he became world champion WBC Silver fighting against American Tony Thompson.
On October 24, 2014 he flew to Russia to defend his title against Alexander Povetkin.
On April 10, 2015 he faces MARCELO Luiz.
